Melissa De Santis is the Director of the Strauss Health Sciences Library at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She has been at the Strauss Library since 2007 and in her current position since 2016.
As Director she oversees the staff and resources of the library, guides the library’s continued development, and partners with other units on campus to advance the institution’s missions.
Her research and creative work has been in the areas of scholarly communications and advancing diversity, equity and inclusion.
Melissa received her MLIS from UCLA and in addition to MCMLA she is active in MLA and AAHSL.
